Writing is one of my joys! I've enjoyed writing since I was a child. It comes easily at times and can be a struggle at other times. Why? It's called life and we all must deal with it. I must remember not to beat myself up, when I fall short. Why am I behind schedule with my publications?

Did I forget that life happens? No matter what has occurred in my life - - writing is a must. Will everyone like my writing? Of course not, just as not everyone will like me. But it's not about that. It's doing what I love and living life to the fullest. I will not live this life with my music locked up inside me. I refuse to be one of those people that reach old age with regrets.

I have a few books outlined and ready to be completed. People have shared stories and experiences that they wish to see in print. Writing isn't something that I can turn on & off. People want to spend more time with me talking & just hanging out, yet they want the next two books to be published already.

I do struggle with maintaining balance at times. As much as I love family & friends - - I do need my space in order to write.

I actually have enough writing material to last me a few lifetimes. As long as I continue to write for the joy of writing and not to please others - - I'll consider myself a success! My goal and sometimes challenge is to always "be true" to myself.
